At this point, I prefer to offer each of my clients the personal attention and insight they can’t get by using a large company.
If you are a “do-it-yourself” kind of traveler, please remember:
- Price and value are two different things. The lowest price is not always the best option.
- Many large websites will draw you in with a rate that seems to be the lowest, but will then add on taxes, fees, or surcharges. Make sure you understand what the price does (and does not) include.
- If you purchase on your own, you will also be on your own when you encounter issues or have problems. If you book with a travel agent, you have an experienced professional to help.
